Colleen Campbell is the weekend weather forecaster for CBS19.

She joined the team in December 2020 after serving as the chief forecaster at WDTV in Bridgeport, West Virginia. While there, she had the chance to lead her team through all types of weather West Virginia had to offer.

Connecting with viewers, volunteering and being a part of the community is what Colleen sees as the most rewarding part of working in news.

During her time at WDTV, Colleen kick-started the first and only station toy drive in the region, delivering gifts to children under hospital care at WVU Medicine Children's during the holiday season. The toy drive went on for three successful years until she left for Texas.

In addition to the toy drive, she is known for putting her time into other philanthropic events such as raising money for breast cancer research, volunteering for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and helping at special needs events.

A proud owl, Colleen graduated from Temple University with a BA in Journalism and is on her way to finishing her certification for Broadcast and Operational Meteorology through Mississippi State University.

Originally from the Philly-South Jersey area, Colleen is excited to be back in a region that has a lot to offer from weather to places to explore! But sorry football fans, she does root for the Eagles.
