Lidia Herrera joined the CBS19 team as a digital content producer in Jan. 2022.
She is originally from Los Angeles, but was raised in Houston. She graduated from the University of Houston with a B.A. in Communications and Spanish in 2018.
While attending UH, she was involved with UH Athletics Video Department, the Daily Cougar Newspaper, and Sigma Kappa sorority. She was the Jr. Communications Chair for the University of Houston Hispanic Alumni Association, a member of the Sigma Kappa Alumni Association, and a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalist.
In her free time, she enjoys binging new shows, creating content for her blog, traveling with her family and friends and exploring East Texas with her Dalmatian, Luna.
