Ashley Moore is the weekday sports anchor at CBS19.
When it comes to reporting sports in East Texas, Ashley believes she is the most passionate, having been born and raised in Longview. She played varsity basketball for the Longview Lobos and made it to the Class 4A Region II quarterfinal her sophomore year.
Before becoming the sports reporter, Ashley was a producer and segment host for The Morning Loop.
Ashley holds a Master’s Degree in broadcast and digital journalism with a sports emphasis from Syracuse University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston.
While attending both UH and Syracuse, Ashley covered their sports programs with the media team. She also hosted radio shows at both schools. When it comes to which school to root for, if they were to play each other, Ashley’s heart and soul is in H-Town! Any other time, she also loves the Orange!
