HARRISON COUNTY, Texas — According to the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, a woman had called to report gunshots she and her bother heard around their home.
The woman had advised that someone may have been heard outside their home and went outside to check armed with rifles.
According to the caller, after inspecting the property they were headed back to the house when she stumbled and accidentally shot her brother in the shoulder.
The caller gathered towels and applied pressure to the wound until paramedics arrived on scene.
No arrests have been made at this time and the investigation is still on going.
