KILGORE, Texas — Three suspects have been arrested in connection with a woman being shot in the neck in Kilgore on Sunday.
According to the KPD, around 2:30 p.m., officers responded to a home in the 1600 block of Miles Street on reports of a shooting.
When officials arrived on scene, they discovered an 18-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck. She was taken to a Longview hospital where she underwent emergency surgery.
Police say the initial investigation revealed two groups of individuals were involved in an altercation in which shots were fired and the woman was struck in the neck. The KPD says several shell casings were recovered from the scene, along with a handgun.
The KPD says investigators located and arrested two of the suspects on Tuesday.
The suspects were identified as Isaiah Orange, 17, and Treylon Stephenson, 18, both of Kilgore.
Orange was jailed on an aggravated robbery warrant and possession of marijuana. His bond was set at $153,500. Stephenson was taken into custody for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. His bond has been set at $100,000.
On Thursday, Kilgore police arrested a third suspect in the shooting. Xiavier Epps, 21 of Ore City, was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. His bond has been set at $150,000.
All three suspects are being housed in the Kilgore Municipal Jail.
