LIST: Halloween events in East Texas

Happy Halloween East Texas! Here's a list of events happening on Halloween in East Texas.

TYLER, Texas — Looking to take your kids somewhere fun and safe for Halloween? We've got you covered East Texas!

Below is a list of events happening throughout the region:

Tyler

Trick or Treat at Times Square Grand Slam: 5 p.m. - 10 p.m.

Times Square Cinema
5201 South Broadway Avenue, Suite 170

Local companies will give away candy at more than 50 booths. There will also be prizes for kids who spin the Prize Wheel. 

Grand Slam will offer unlimited free laser tag, ropes course play and free candy claw play.

There will also be hidden pumpkins in the arcade with arcade cards and candy.

Kids may also participate in a costume contest.

There will other spooky surprises.

Trunk or Treat at Green Acres Baptist Church: 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Green Acres Baptist Church

1607 Troup Highway

The free event will take on a Fall Festival feel with candy, classic cards, petting zoo and bounce houses. 

Concessions will be available for purchase. 

Disney Junior Play Dates: 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Broadway Square Mall

Center Court

Younger kids are encouraged to show up in costume for family fun based on Vampirina and other Disney Junior characters. 

First 100 people receive an exclusive Character Card.

Longview 

CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Trick or Treat: 5:30 p.m. - 7 p.m.

The free indoor event will feature candy, face painting, games, prizes and a photo booth.

Candy Crawl: 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Longview Mall
3500 McCann Road

Kids should come in costume for indoor trick-or-treating at the mall!

The mall will also have a table with Teal Pumpkin treats for kids with food allergies. 

The Village 2nd Annual Halloween Walk: 4 p.m. - 6 p.m.

The Village Shopping Center

2002 Judson Road, Suite 108

Kids are encouraged to dress up for a safe environment for trick-or-treating while there is some daylight. There will also be a costume contest.

Gladewater

Fall Carnival at Calvary Baptist Church: 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.

301 Farm-to-Market Road

This free family event will take on a fall festival feel. There will be candy and prizes available for folks of all ages.

Flint

Light Up the Night: 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Flint Baptist Church

This carnival-like event will feature rides, bounce houses and game booth. There will also be plenty of candy to give out as well as prizes and raffles.

There will be a praise band providing entertainment and food trucks for food.

Bullard

Coptoberfest: 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Bullard City Hall

Residents are encouraged to come celebrate Halloween with city officials and first responders. The city and police department will provide goodies and treats.

Whitehouse

Halloween in the Park: 5 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

City Park
311 East Main Street

The city of Whitehouse invites families to come to City Park for a costume contest, hayride, bounce house, and other fun activities.

Make sure to bring comfy blankets and chairs as the city will show the Disney-Pixar classic Monsters Inc. in the field next to the REC beginning at 7 p.m.

Henderson

Public Safety Fun Night: 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Central Fire Station

401 West Main Street

Public safety officers throughout Rusk County will be on hand to hand out candy, educational materials and safety badges.

There will also be vehicles that kids can check out.

Trunk or Treat: 8:30 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Randall Dodge Chrysler Jeep
100 Kilgore Drive

Kids are invited to this trunk or treat event for plenty of candy throughout the day.

Kilgore

Downtown Trick or Treat: 4 p.m. - 6 p.m.

815 North Kilgore Street

Historic downtown Kilgore will hold a trick-or-treating event with plenty of candy from a number of sponsors. 

There will also be a spooky photo opportunity for kids in costume!

Lindale

Halloween Hangout: 5 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

205 East North Street

A number of business will be on hand to pass out plenty of candy for kids.

There will also be a costume contests for kids of all ages!

Driver Thru Trick-or-Treating: 6 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Wesley House Assisted Living of Lindale
12923 Farm-to-Market Road

Residents will be dressed up and passing candy out to kids. Parents will need to drive through the circle drive.
