UT Health East Texas Breast Care Center honors breast cancer survivors
Tyler, Texas (September 25, 2019) — UT Health East Texas Breast Care Center is hosting its annual Pink Ribbon Getaway for breast cancer survivors from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18. The event is at the UT Health Tyler Pavilion and a free lunch is included to all who register.
The keynote speaker for the luncheon this year will be Beverly Waddleton, DO. Dr. Waddleton is a physician at UT Health East Texas in Quitman and a breast cancer survivor. Dr. Waddleton was diagnosed with stage two ductal cell carcinoma in September 2000 and is proud to be a 19-year cancer survivor.
Along with Dr. Waddleton, there will a physician’s panel with some of UT Health East Texas’s oncologists, a time for arts and crafts, outside vendors and yoga.
