EUSTACE, Texas — Eustace Independent School District is alerting parents after a weapon was brought on campus.
According to Superintendent Coy Holcombe, a high school student inadvertently brought a gun to school on Tuesday.
Holcombe says administrators and the district police chief conducted a thorough investigation throughout the day.
"At this time, everything has been handled," said Holcombe. "There was never a threat made at school. As always, we will continue to strive to provide the most secure environment for our students."
