Second-graders at Longview Christian School have found an age-old way to connect with seniors in their community.

The program started out as a way to improve writing skills and learn cursive but has since grown into a unique inter-generational friendship.

“I wanted to practice writing skills and handwriting and it’s become more than that, they’ve learned and developed writing skills, they enjoy getting to know their pen pals.” Selena Goza, Longview Christian Second Grade teacher

Each letter reveals new interests, hobbies and commonalities between the two very different generations.
