SMITH COUNTY, Texas — A Lindale man has been killed in a single vehicle accident in Smith County.
According to a preliminary crash report, 30-year-old Mark William Threlkeld, of Lindale, was traveling north on CR 344 at an unsafe speed.
Threlkeld entered a sharp curve in the roadway and lost control, exited the road and struck a tree.
The crash remains under investigation.
