SMITH COUNTY — Smith County deputies found two bodies just after 9 p.m. Wednesday on the 2400 block of Highway 31 East and eventually discovered the two died as a result of a murder-suicide.
A woman had called 911 to let authorities know about a body in a field, and when deputies got to the scene, they saw her at the side of the road.
