SMITH COUNTY — Alvin Dewayne Dunn Jr., 20, Kenyotta Daquis Henderson, 21, Alexa Nicole Gilmore, 18 and Jazmine Victoria Johnson, 18, were arrested for aggravated assault after shots were fired after 1 a.m. at Stone Creek Apartments in Tyler.

According to the Tyler Police Department, officers responded to a call about multiple shots fired and when they got to the scene, they found out no one was hit by bullets.

Officers then found a vehicle and two apartment buildings that were hit by gunfire. They also found an AR-15 and pistol on the scene of the incident.

A security guard told police that he tried to break up a fight between Gilmore and Johnson assaulting a third woman.

During the fight, a big group of people gathered in the area at the time the shots were fired.

After the gunfire, the security guard ran for cover behind a vehicle after Dunn and Henderson threatened him with guns.

The suspects fired shots several times in the guard's direction.

Several people were later brought to the Tyler Police Department to be interviewed about the incident, and after collecting the details, officers arrested Dunn, Henderson, Gilmore and Johnson.

Gilmore and Johnson were taken into custody for Aggravated Assault, and Dunn and Henderson were arrested for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
