A Northeast Texas investigator will be honored as “Officer of the Year” by the National Equipment Register in 2019.
According to a press release, Investigator Kenneth Peters with the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office was selected as “Officer of the Year” by The National Equipment Register.
The National Equipment Register stated that each year they recognize one officer from across the country that has “performed exceptional service to the rental industry through the recovery of rental equipment or through theft prevention initiatives” and Investigator Peters has not only demonstrated these work ethics but has exceeded them in his job performance.
“I want to personally thank Investigator Peters for all his hard work and dedication to the citizens of Hunt County. The fact that he was selected from a pool of nominations from across the Country is a tremendous honor and we are fortunate to have someone of his caliber,” said Sheriff Randy Meeks in a press release.
