According to the City of Kemp, they are issuing a boil water notice due to an E. Coli MCL violation.
They are continuing to conduct additional sampling and initiating a level 2 assessment as per the Texas Commission Environmental Quality Revised Total Coliform Rule (RTCR).
Once the city receives a negative result from lab results they will rescind the boil water notice.
