LINDALE, Texas — The city of Lindale has rescinded a boil water notice for 27 homes one day after issuing it due to a contractor striking a water line.
The affected areas included Wood Springs Road from Pearl Street to Shelley Lane and all of Shelley Lane, according to the city.
This water line was struck during area construction work, and the notice was issued Wednesday. City officials said people in that area can now safely drink or use water for consumption without boiling.
