ROSE CITY BLOOMING: City of Tyler issues permit to Bubba's 33

It is unknown when the new eatery will open, as they are still going through the development process with the city.

It appears the Rose City is getting another popular restaurant

According to the City of Tyler, a permit was granted for Bubba's 33 for the location that formerly housed Ken's Pizza and Five Guys in the French Quarter at the intersection of Loop 323 and S. Broadway Ave.

Five Guys closed in July 2021 and Ken's Pizza recently moved into the space which used to be occupied by Mr. Gatti's.

"Proudly presented by the creators of Texas Roadhouse, Bubba's 33 is the place to be," their website says. "Discover this twist on classic American fare served up with fun."

The Bubba's 33 menu features:

  • Appetizers
  • Salads
  • Wings 
  • Pizza
  • Burgers
  • Sandwiches
  • Dinners
  • Desserts

"We're serving up the good stuff. Get your hands on one of our big and juicy burgers, or try a slice or two of our hand-tossed, stoned-baked pizza," the website states. "We craft our burgers and pizzas from the ground up in-house with the freshest ingredients around."
