LINDALE, Texas — A Lindale woman riding a scooter was killed after a vehicle struck her and left the scene in the Lindale area early Monday morning.
Texas Department of Public Safety Sgt. Jean Dark said Esperanza H. Guillen, 37, was driving a 2019 Zhejiang Tao Tao EVO 50 south on County Road 4191 south.
A 2003 Buick Century that was traveling north failed to give half of the roadway and struck the scooter, DPS said.
Dark said the driver of the Buick left the scene.
