TYLER, Texas — When severe weather makes its way to East Texas, flooding, power outages at intersections and debris in the roadway could cause problems for commuters.
CBS19 will make sure you're in the know if and when road conditions become an issue across the area.
No significant issues at this time.
Drivers should always use caution when there are trees and debris in the roadway (mostly reported in residential areas) and treat intersections normally controlled by a traffic light as a four-way stop.
Do not attempt to cross any area that is flooded. Drive at speeds that are safe for the conditions, which at this time are lower than the posted speed limits. We will continue to update road conditions.
