A Titus County fugitive's near six-year run came to an end Tuesday, according to the Titus County Sheriff's Office.
Eric Alonzo Zaldivar-Orona was caught in McAllen, Texas and transferred to Titus County Jail on Dec. 6.
Zaldivar-Orona was wanted after failing to appear for official proceedings stemming from his original arrest and indictments on one count of kidnapping and six counts of burglary of a habitation in Titus County in 2011.
Law enforcement officials acquired information that Zaldivar had been known to hid out along the Southern Texas Border with Mexico, but had avoided being captured for nearly six years.
Zaldivar is being held on an $800,000 bond.
