HARRISON COUNTY — Noah Tyson Langston, a 20-year-old Jefferson man, died after crashing his car into a tree at around 12:42 a.m. on Farm to Market Road 31 just north of Marshall.
According to DPS, a preliminary investigation showed that Langston was heading south on the road in the right lane when a deer got on the road from the right.
Langston then tried taking evasive action to avoid hitting the deer, but did not succeed.
His vehicle instead ended up entering a side skid, leaving the left side of the highway and hitting a tree with the left side of the car.
Langston died as a result of the crash and his body was taken to a funeral home in Marshall.
