Several businesses in Longview, Marshall and Tyler have joined together to offer support for the three families who lost loved ones in the tragic electrocution accident on Lake O' the Pines.
"Hallsville Loves" begins tomorrow. According to the Facebook Events page:
This week an unimaginable tragedy has struck the hearts of Hallsville. Losing three precious boys that dedicated much of their time, energy, and passion in serving the community has left us wondering, "how do we give back?!" Many of us in the Hallsville community (and beyond) are rallying together Saturday, August 12th, to host a "Hallsville Loves" day. This day is to honor the lives of Will, Heath, and Thomas. It's also a day for the community of Hallsville to shower the Brannon, Faucheux, and Larry families with emotional and financial support. Many of our Hallsville businesses all over town will be donating a portion of their Saturday sales. These donations will go to the Scholarship Funds that have been setup at Guaranty Bank & Trust in the names of Will, Heath, and Thomas.
Many businesses are offering a portion of sales Saturday going to the fund. One business, Shivers Natural Snow, said it will reopen as well to help with the donations.
The group is also asking that all of Hallsville wear purple on Sat. to show that "Hallsville loves Will, Heath and Thomas."
