This disaster is showing a community working together to clear debris and fix homes. I spoke to several people who are lending a hand for one another.
The Island View neighborhood is four miles west of the park.
The Texas Forestry Service has removed a lot of the debris from roads but people still have a large mess to clean up.
Homeowner Michael Vick says he couldn't believe his neighborhood was so damaged.
Vick also says his home didn't have power. He says he's thankful to the power company for restoring it so fast!
Other neighbors tell me it could take a week before they clear all the debris from their yards.
Brushy Creek Park remains closed but other campgrounds are open.
Park attendants say they hope to reopen the park on July 4th.
