On Friday, April 17, Texas Governor Greg Abbott issued an executive order closing all school districts for the remainder of the 2019-20 school year due to the coronavirus.
SMITH COUNTY
Tyler ISD is closed for the remainder of the 2019-20 school year.
The Curbside Meal program will continue as scheduled.

Overton ISD is closed for the remainder of the 2019-20 school year.

Longview ISD is closed for the remainder of the 2019-20 school year.
Meals will be served on eight campuses from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. during the closure. Every child that comes to these campuses will be given two meals. Any child attending LISD is welcome to get meals at the following locations: Longview High School, Forest Park Middle School, South Ward, Ware, Foster Middle School, Bramlette STEAM Academy, J.L. Everhart and Judson STEAM Academy.
