TYLER — Tyler police identified suspect arrested in Sunday's shooting at the Westwood Shopping Center.

Kristian Perdomo was arrested shortly after allegedly shooting a man in a commercial area off Chandler and Loop 323. He has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The shooting happened at about 4:10 p.m.

According to Tyler police, a witness to the shooting flagged down a passing officer. Multiple units responded to the scene.

Police discovered that 45-year-old Bradley Brockman had been shot. He was rushed to the hospital where he is in critical condition.

Witnesses gave a description of the suspect and the vehicle. Police soon arrested a male suspect and took him into custody.

The shooting is under investigation by Tyler police officer and crime scene personnel.

Police say they do not believe this shooting is connected with Saturday's shooting in the northeastern part of the city or other recent homicides in Smith County.

Police are urging anyone with information or evidence to come forward.

Police are asking if any people or businesses have surveillance video showing a silver Toyota Avalon in the area along Greenbrier Road between Highways 31 and 64 to call police at (903)-531-1000.

Police are also searching for a red bandana or handgun in the area.
