MD Anderson Cancer Center and UT Health Northeast have announced an affiliation that will provide greater access to advanced cancer treatments for adults needing care, the head of MD Anderson Cancer Center and officials with UT announced Thursday.
Through this relationship, UT Northeast will be part of an international collaboration of hospitals and health systems fighting the disease.
The news came at a Thursday morning news conference at UT Health Northeast, with UT Health Northeast President Kirk Calhoun, University of Texas System Deputy Chancellor Davide E. Daniel and MD Anderson Cancer Center President Ronald DePinho in attendance.
