TYLER, Texas — People Attempting To Help (PATH) in Tyler tells CBS19 the group begin helping area residents with free tax preparation services on Wednesday despite the organization's building sustaining damage from overnight storms.
Volunteers, who are certified by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), will assist families in the tax preparation process. E-file and direct deposit services are available, as well.
The free tax return prep begins Wednesday through April 13 for families with household incomes of less than $55,000 per year.
Services will be offered on Wednesdays from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon.
PATH will have limited availability drop-off service for families who are unable to wait during regular service hours.
The PATH office in Tyler is located at 402 West Front Street.
