SMITH COUNTY — Looking for a place in Tyler to watch Friday night’s debate in the U.S. Senate race?
Supporters of U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and challenger Rep. Beto O’Rourke, D-El Paso, are hosting watch parties in Tyler.
The hour long debate is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, and the topic will be domestic policy. This is the first of three debates in the race between Cruz and O'Rourke.
