TYLER, Texas — The United States Consumer Safety Product Commission has announced Academy Sports + Outdoors is recalling their Outdoor Gourmet Turkey Keg due to fire hazards.
The turkey fryer, made of stainless steel and powered by propane, measures 34" high by 17" wide.
The item number is 157826 and is located on a label on one of the four legs.
Academy Sports + Outdoors has received two reports fryers leaking. No injuries or property damage have been reported.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled fryer and return it to any Academy Sports + Outdoors store for a full refund plus a $50 Academy gift card.
