Sanderson Farms looking to hire about 1,500 people in Tyler area

The company is also offering "Sanderson Way Career Interest Sessions" for prospective employees on July 17,18 and 19 2018 at TJC.

SMITH COUNTY — Sanderson Farms is looking to fill about 1,500 hourly positions for its new poultry complex being constructed in Tyler.

According to the company, initial operations are expected to start in early 2019.

The company is offering "Sanderson Way Career Interest Sessions" on July 17,18 and 19 2018 at the Skills Training Center on TJC's West Campus.

Sessions will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and those looking to work with the company can go to any one of the nine sessions throughout the three days they are offered.
