TYLER — The SPCA of East Texas is working with local restaurants to raise money for animals. This morning, they hosted their Hounds and Grounds event at 1836 Texas Kitchen, in Tyler.

People got the opportunity to eat a delicious brunch and let their pooches meet some new friends.

The restaurant is donating a portion of the sales to the SPCA. Volunteers say that money will help hundreds of animals find forever homes.

"This money will go to help hundreds of animals," SPCA of East Texas Executive Director Kat Cortelyou says

The money they raise will help to offset the cost of their spay and neuter clinic.
