NACOGDOCHES, Texas — An East Texas man is behind bars in connection with the 2018 robbery of a Tyler restaurant.

According to the Tyler Police Department, Gabriel Lamando Johnson, 41, of Flint, was arrested Wednesday, January 30, following a traffic stop in Nacogdoches. 

Police say Johnson is responsible for the November 19, aggravated robbery of Razzoo's, located at 7011 South Broadway Avenue.

Officials say investigators were notified of Johnson's arrest in which he was booked on multiple drug charges, a parole warrant and the aggravated robbery warrant.

Johnson, who was considered armed and dangerous prior to his arrest, has a lengthy criminal history and was on parole when the alleged crime occurred, says the TPD.

In December, authorities secured an arrest warrant for Johnson that included a $1,000,000 bond.

Johnson is currently in the Nacogdoches County Jail.
