A viral photo is raising parents' eyebrows across the internet. This worksheet was, apparently, sent home to a class of middle schoolers in Virginia.

It includes questions like: "What do you call the much younger and beautiful wife of an older, wealthy man?" The answer to that one -- "Trophy Wife."

Many of you want to know if this worksheet is real, or an internet hoax. Our VERIFY team looked into it.

First, we checked with the district, Hopewell City Public Schools. They pointed us to the superintendent's post on Facebook which says, "This assignment was also not included or referenced in the teacher's weekly lesson plans that are reviewed and approved in advance of instruction ... Upon further review, we have determined that a teacher downloaded this worksheet from the Internet."

We tracked down that site, islcollective.com -- a place where English as Second Language teachers share worksheets. We found that same assignment.

We can VERIFY -- yes -- the worksheet is real. By the way, the district says it put a new protocol in place to keep this from happening again, but wouldn't' comment on any possible action involving the teacher.
