FLINT — A water pressure explosion sent a Flint man to the hospital Wednesday morning.
The incident happened just before 11 a.m. in the 11700 block CR 133.
According to the Smith County Sheriff's Office, the man was working on the water well pressure tank when it exploded. The man received cuts to the neck and face.
The man's wife was also at the home when the tank exploded. She was not hurt.
Smith County EMS and Flint-Gresham Fire units responded to the call.
Emergency personnel rushed the man into the hospital, where he was taken into surgery.
The Smith County Sheriff's Office did not identify the man, nor did they provide details on his condition.
