A Longview man received a life sentence after pleading guilty to murder in connection with the death of two men in 2015.

Assistant District Attorney David Colley said Jaylon Jones pleaded guilty Wednesday morning in the 276th district Court of Judge Robert Rolsten for his role in the death of Traderrion Crowder and Keelean Walker in 2015.

Three people were shot at a residence in the 400 block of North Greer Boulevard, and two later died from their injuries. Jones was identified as the suspect and turned himself in to police on Dec. 18, 2015.

Jones will have to serve at least 30 years before he is eligible for parole.
