NEW YORK, USA — April the Giraffe's new calf needs a name!
Animal Adventure Park is holding a naming contest for the male giraffe born to the famous mom.
A contest to choose the name of the little boy has been announced on the parks website. The nominations can be made in increments of five votes, and every five names requires a donation of $5.
The donations will be to support the park, giraffe conservation initiative, and a charity for sick children and their families called Ava's Little Heroes.
The voting is broken down into rounds:
- Round One: Submit your name(s) of choice March 18-24.
- Round Two: Top 20 names will be available for voting March 25-31.
- Top name will be announced April 1.
