Panola County Sheriff's Office still searching for missing woman

PANOLA, Texas —

The Panola County Texas Sheriff’s Office is stil searching for a woman who went missing in January.

According to the Panola County Sheriff’s Office, Lauren Elizabeth Thompson, 32, was last seen on January 19, in the Rock Hill Community off Farm-to-Market Road 1794 in Panola County.

The sheriff’s office says they received a call around 2:30 p.m. from a woman saying she was being chased in a wooded area. However, her phone died during the 911 call. Deputies say she seemed disoriented and confused.

According to officials, they found Thompson’s car stuck in a ditch, just west of the Rock Hill Community.

Thompson is 5’5’’ and weighs about 180-190 pounds. She has brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing dark-colored leggings and a dark-colored hoodie.

The PCSO, along with DPS, Texas Rangers, Texas Game Warden, Texas Forest Service and constables have been helping with the search.
