MINEOLA, Texas — Meteorologists Brittany Mireles visited the Mineola Nature Preserve for the viewing party of the super blood moon eclipse on January 20th.
The viewing party took place with the Astronomical Society of East Texas.
About 50 people came to watch the eclipse.
The Nature preserve provided a great viewing destination as as the area had no light pollution and clear skies.
We talked to the president of the Astronomical Society for East Texas to find out why Mineola Nature Preserve is the best place to see the eclipse.
