LUFKIN, Texas — The Texas Medical Board has restricted the license of an East Texas doctor saying his unrestricted practice of medicine poses a continuing threat to public welfare. The restriction was effective immediately.
On Wednesday, a disciplinary panel of the TMB temporarily restricted, with notice, the Texas medical license of Robert Victor Hallett, M.D. (Lic. No. L9581). The restriction was effective immediately.
According to the Board, Dr. Hallett's temporary suspension entered on January 3, 2019, due to impairment issues shall be lifted for the sole purpose of a KSTAR assessment. However, he is still restricted from any and all practice.
The temporary restriction remains in place until the Board takes further action.
