Two major health service providers are partnering with Texas Spine & Joint Hospital to expand services to more East Texas communities, as announced in a press release issued August 1.

Baylor Scott & White Health and United Surgical Partners International announced the joint partnership, stating Texas Spine & Joint Hospital is now officially part of the Baylor Scott & White statewide network.

“We are excited by the opportunity to partner with USPI and this great group of physicians to serve the people of Tyler, Smith County and all of East Texas," said Jim Hinton, president and CEO, Baylor Scott & White Health. “We believe this is an excellent way to expand our high-value integrated delivery network into new communities throughout the state.”

According to the press release, the partnership will enable physicians and other caregivers to provide better coordinated care to patients and providers will be more easily able to access quality clinical resources.
