The search for answer and missing Rusk Co. woman continues

About 6 months have passed, but the disappearance of Kimberly Flint remains a mystery. Those that love Kimberly though haven't given up and continue to search.

After nearly 6 months and countless hours of searching there's still no sign of Kimberly Flint.

"She was such a blessing to all of us," said Becky Clark, a family friend. "I know her family misses her dearly so they need to have answers."

The last time Kimberly was seen, it was September 26th at her home in Laneville around 5:30 a.m. But her Jeep was found crashed on the side of Highway 84, heading toward Reklaw in Rusk County later that day.

"she's kind of like a daughter to me and I was like a mom," explained Clark. "And we need to know, we need to know what happened that day."

Kimberly's family and friends have had search parties to find her as well as posted to social media and put up signs near the crash site.

"The family needs this, they need the support," Clark said. "There's people here that care about them."

Saturday morning, her family and friends gathered once more to look for any answers they could find for the mystery surrounding Kimberly. This time though, they were joined with help by 1st Priority Search and Recovery, along with K-9 units.

"We're going to go out and look for Kimberly Flint, in areas in-between the crash site and the home," said Monica Santler, 1st Priority Search and Recovery. "And we'll just try to find anything to help find her at all."

Even with the extra help, nothing was found to solve this case.

"And if we don't find anything today we continue to make efforts to look and find her," Santler said.

As the search for answers continues, those who love Kimberly hope she knows that they'll never give up.

"I love you Kim, your family loves you," Clark said.
