TYLER, Texas — A community came together in prayer, worship and love for the victims of the North Tyler house fire last week.
The Miles Chapel CME Church was full of people, all joined together to begin the healing process.
Preachers, pastors, and reverends from all over Tyler said prayers or read scriptures in hopes of lifting spirits.
"One of the things I hope that this vigil will do for the community is one is to present that a sense of community to show an outpouring of love to this family and one another," said Rev. Jamie Caper, Miles Chapel CME. "This is tragedy that of course this is a tragedy that no one could have anticipated and no one could have expected."
