DALLAS — East Texas native and NFL star quarterback Patrick Mahomes met another Lone Star State icon earlier this week and even tossed the pigskin around.
Bobby Stroupe, founder and president of APEC, caught up with Mahomes as he played catch with future NBA Hall of Fame selection, Dirk Nowitzki.
The dynamic duo enjoyed a little fun at the Dallas Mavericks Training Center in the metroplex, even if Nowtizki almost took out the ceiling with one of his passes.
At the end of the day, Mahomes and Nowitzki traded jerseys as a sign of respect from one Texas legend to another in the making.
