GILMER- The 12th Annual East Texas Academy commenced in Gilmer on Monday evening. The three day camp develops quarterbacks, wide receivers, tight ends, and fullbacks.
The campers were put through various drills such as passing, catching, and route running. The three day camp allows these football players to develop their skills and hone their craft.
"It's an exciting time for us because we get to see so many kids across East Texas," stated Gilmer head football coach Matt Turner. "It's fun to coach the kids. This is what it's all about."
The camp concludes on Wednesday.
