BULLARD - Just a few years ago this week's athlete was in the same position except now he's older and even more of an offensive threat on the field, and with his team currently 1-1 in district play he's back, and this week's American State Bank Player of the Week.

We didn't start off like we hoped but we're hoping to turn it around and last week it really clicked, and I think we're going to prove a lot of people wrong for the last half of district. It really brought all of us together everybody just worked great together we started off a little shaky with the dropped kick off but after that there were no mistakes and it was a great game.

Being a panther is the greatest feeling to me personally anybody who has been here knows how special it is to be a panther. I cannot chose a better place than Bullard to be the quarterback. This year hasn't been the best season but it's been the most fun by far. It's my last year and my best friends last year, we're having a lot of fun. I hope people just don't think of me as a good quarterback but as a good person and a good leader.

Yeah I think I've grown more as a leader for the team. When I was younger I had a bunch of older guys on the line as my receivers and stuff but this year I think I've grown more as a leader, and we have a higher standard this year. Coach Callaway is a great coach a great leader and I think he's really brought the team together.

It's my senior season and it's really going to be sad at the end but I'm having a ton of fun right now and I hope it continues in the playoffs. I want to see our team push themselves to the limit and win out this last half of district and prove to people that we're a force and we're looking to go deep.
