CHAPEL HILL - Robbie Williams put up some great numbers during his 3 years on the varsity roster at Chapel Hill.

Now the Bulldogs star wide receiver has decided where he'll continue his career. On Wednesday morning, Williams signed with Northwestern State.

The Demons have been busy recruiting in East Texas in recent years, and Williams is one of two players from the area to sign with them on Wednesday.

He says his 3 years at Chapel Hill really helped him get ready for the FCS level and he expects to jump right in and contribute to Northwestern State next year.

Williams says, "I expect to do some great things as a freshman, honestly, make some big plays. They just had a receiver declare for the draft so I plan to step in, step into his shoes."
