TYLER - The Lee girls basketball team is off to a hot start this year. The Lady Raiders have won 12 of their first 16 games, including their last 3 in a row.
The team tried to keep that hot streak going on Tuesday night as they hosted Liberty-Eylau.
And this game was all Lee from the start. The Lady Raiders jumped out to an early 14 point lead and never looked back as they beat Liberty-Eylau 57-35.
On the boys side, Lee had to make a short trip on Tuesday night as they played at Whitehouse.
This was a game of runs early on. Lee opened the game on a 9-0 run, only to have Whitehouse respond with a 9-0 run of their own. From there on out, it was a back and forth contest.
Lee led late, but with less than 5 seconds to play, Theron Franklin-Cobb hit a shot for the Wildcats and that was the game-winner, as they beat Lee 43-42.
