TYLER - Just over a week ago the Spring Hill 7-on-7 football team went on an impressive run in the 7-on-7 state tournament in College Station. The team found success by being able to survive and advance. This is the first time in nearly a decade the Panthers had been to the tournament.
Representing the Panthers were head coach Kelley Mercer and seniors Sawyer Smith, Morgan Bradford, and Trenton Arrington.
The spoke about making history in the tournament, how they're going to use this as motivation for the upcoming 2018-2019 football season, and how important this was to not only the team but to the community as well.
