Tenaha football coach Craig Horn resigns

After 3 years with the Tigers, Tenaha football coach Craig Horn has resigned.

TENAHA - This past year, the Tenaha football team had one of their best seasons ever as they made it to the state championship game.

The 2018 Tenaha football team will be missing a lot of stars from that state finalist team. It turns out, they'll also have a new head coach.

CBS 19 has learned that Craig Horn has resigned, effective last Friday (April 20). Assistant coach Greg Jenkins will take over as the head coach and athletic director for the Tigers.

We've learned that Coach Horn was open with the administration as he actively searched for other jobs this past off-season. He was reportedly one of the finalists for the Daingerfield job and his name was also tied to the Pecos job.

Horn spent 3 years with the Tigers and led them to an overall record of 36-8.
