BULLARD - This afternoon the Texas A&M University at Commerce Lions held their annual football camp over at Brook Hill. Over 100 high school football players attended the camp. This is also the 5th year Coach Colby Carthel and his staff have been teaching local athletes how to hone their skills on the field. Campers also got a taste of what it is like to be coached by the reigning NCAA Division II Football National Champions. For coach Carthel he wants his campers to know what it takes to become a champion.

"I hope each and every camper is better at the game of football and that's what we pride ourselves on with these camps it's not a combine it's a 3-hour football camp. We hope that every recruit that comes out here gets better at the game of football just picks up something a teaching point a technique a new drill or something that helps their game and improves their game of football," says Carthel.
