Golden Road will be closed at Debby Drive in Tyler from May 16 to May 23.
The temporary road closure next week will allow contractors to install water and sewer lines under the roadway. This is part of a new development near the road.
Any northbound traffic will detour onto Neeley Street, then Terrance Lane, onto Sterling Drive, ending on Golden Road.
Any southbound traffic will detour onto Sterling Drive, then Terrance Lane, onto Neeley Street, ending on Golden Road.
All drivers are asked to use caution when driving in the area. It is recommended to obey by all detour and traffic signs in the area. Traffic will return to normal after construction ends on May 23.
